Ring Size Guide
Want to order a ring but not sure what size to get? Don’t worry – here are three easy techniques for finding your perfect size.
Method 1
For this method all you need is
- A thin strip of paper or a string
- A ruler
- A pen
Just follow these easy steps:
- Fold the strip of paper/string around the base of the finger (where you would ideally like the ring to sit) you want it to be quite snug, but with enough space that it can go over your knuckle.
- With your pen, mark the area where the two ends meet.
- Use the ruler to measure the length in millimetres. Now you have the perimeter of your finger.
- Using our ring conversion chart, you can convert your measurement into a ring size that will fit you perfectly. Please note if you are between ring sizes it is recommended that you size up
Method 2
For this method all you need is:
- A printer
- A pair of scissor
- A ruler
Just follow these easy steps:
- Print of the printable ring sizer above on A4 paper. Print scaling must be 100% to ensure the ring sizer is the correct size
- Once printed, measure the 3.5 inch line to ensure that the ring sizer is the correct size.
- Using scissors, cut round the ring sizer as indicated in the diagram
- Insert sharp point ‘A’ through the slot ‘B’
- Place the Ring Sizer over your finger and pull the tab until it fits comfortably
- The number that you read will be your US ring size – which can be converted using our ring size conversion chart.
Things to consider when detemringing your ring size
- Temperature: your finger size will change depending on the temperature. Your hands shrink in cold weather and expand in the heat. We recommend measuring your finger at the end of the day as that is when they will be at their largest.
- Both of your hands are not the same size: typically, your dominant hand is larger, therefore it is important to always measure the finger that you intend to wear the ring on.
- Knuckle size: is it important to take into consideration that the base of you finger may be smaller than your knuckle. So, when measuring your finger ensure that you are leaving enough room for the ring to go over your knuckle.
